Given my interest in economics and finance since high school, I have known PwC since well before university, being such an important and present company all over the world.
I deepened my knowledge of the Deals group by participating in university events and, thanks to the advice of some fellow students who were part of the Edge program, I became interested in this particular graduate program.
What made you choose us?
I received several job offers, and the choice of PwC was dictated by my long-term professional goals: I have chosen an internationally recognized and appreciated group, active in all areas of business consulting and with a strong diversity in the type of clients.
My university friends recommended PwC to me because of the dynamic environment and the very knowledgeable and helpful colleagues. Evaluating all these parameters, I had no doubt that this was the best choice.
Can you tell us about the most challenging project you have participated in? Among the many projects I have followed in the last year, one of the most interesting concerns the automotive sector. With the team we accompanied a historic Italian car brand in the sale of the brand, working closely with the owner. It was not enough to evaluate only the economic and financial parameters, but it was also necessary to retrace the history of the brand and the impact it has had on the development of the sector in Italy.
Why would you recommend your friends to apply?
For those who want a career in business, there are many reasons to join PwC. It is an excellent professional school that allows you to have access to the top management of the most important Italian and foreign companies, offers prospects for fast and solid growth and allows you to work in an international environment. The Edge graduate programme, in particular, amplifies all these elements. The program allowed me to meet PwC Associates, Managers and Partners from all over the world with whom I regularly interface.
This knowledge has allowed me to expand my professional and personal network internationally. With job rotation I have also worked on very different projects: from the drafting of business plans for IPO processes to commercial due diligence and carve out processes. These are invaluable experiences, which will benefit me throughout my career.
